Everything about this is awesome. However, as a violinist I can tell the violin is being held incorrectly. The part of her hand where the wrist meets should not be touching the violin, the bow should be between the bridge and the fingerboard, and the wooden part of the bow should be slanted toward the fingerboard and not away from it. People generally don't know that unless they play though, so a lot of the people viewing this will overlook it. As far as awesomeness goes, you've done a great job with the color, the flame, the mood. In fact I'm totally favoriting this.
Cmparatively speaking I think the changes you made to the photo map changes the photo completely. There is more intensity to the photo than I would have expected. The fire on the bow and violin tells me that the woman's emotions are actually being played on the violin. Playing the violin can definately show emotion if the right song is played to show a person's emotion. Fire, to me, can portray emotion that can be powerful yet it can be uncontrolable. Playing with fire can help you , but at the same time harm you if it is used improperly. A firey presence goes to show that a person is a part of both sides of the coin. Fire can be good and bad depending on how it is used and I think this photo portrays this correctily.
I love it how the violin gets burned at the right half Nice idea ^^ Maybe you could try this pic out with ice, so that the violin slowly gets froozen ^^
This is a beautiful piece. I'm just starting out as a violinist and this sums up the passion and beauty with which more experienced violinists play and which I one day hope to emulate. Fantastic work.!
